Biography

In my life, I have been a journalist, a news photographer, a marketing director, free lance writer, business owner, a husband and dad. In 2003 I was invited to Uganda, to "come home." While there, I experienced the extremes of emotion - the sad hopelessness of disease and poverty and the immense joy of people who have so little. I have been to Uganda many times since then and now serve as Managing Director of Juna Amagara Ministries (www.amagara.org). My African name is Mzee Twesigye and I am Nshwento to many children. I will work to give the orphans in Uganda a chance at life until my dying day.
